♭Music in my Life♭

       Music is a huge part of my life! I have been told that as a child, I could hum a tune before I could talk. Since then, I have always been singing. My grandmother taught me to sing when I was little and my parents sang me to sleep. I sang the soundtracks of The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins in a park in Newburyport when I was 18 months old. I learned the Disney Princess Songs and preformed them for my family. When I went to third grade, I started my voice lessons and sung in a school play. I also joined the school's chorus. As I got older, I kept pushing myself to be a better singer and it paid off! In 6th grade, I got my first big singing role. I was Alice in Alice in Wonderland and got so many solos. My biggest musical role and the solos I am the most proud of is Flounder in The Little Mermaid. I had a huge solo in a song and it began to teach me how to sing duets and not overshadow the other person. I love music! Any type of music really. I don't know who I would be without it.
